Holland's Got Talent S02E02 Act 06

Does anybody knows them by the way?

But I must say.. They might do great tricks but they don't have the performing skill Mr. William has  :)

They are going to the next round and the judge said that they should work together. They diddn't really did 2 passing like a passing sprinkler or stealing tricks.

I recognize them both from the Dutch Juggling Championships from last year. I believe they are Bas and Gijs.

Yes, Bas and Gijs. They're from Tilburg I believe. And they did compete in last years Dutch juggling championships. Bas came second and Gijs came third.

Good for them for getting to the next round :) Although the judges are obviously not very competent, they do have a point - simply the tech stuff won't get you there. It's a matter of presenting a good show.

Yep true. William proved it =) But the first comment that Henk Jan guy made... Proves their stupid judges that know nothing.

In the introduction, they say the name Gijs a few times. The tall guy who speaks first says in Dutch "I'm Bas, and this is Gijs" and then the judge says "Hi Gijs, hi Bas". It's impossible to explain the pronunciation in text here.

Btw, just wondering how the flirty gay show host must sound to all you guys who don't speak Dutch. :-|

I thought you were the judge.

You have no idea how insulting that is to Ceri-Anne  ;) Clearly she was not the judge.

Gijs and Bas didn't made it to the half finals.
Because it still wasn't a show.
and that (gay) presentator is called Gerard Joling
and he can't sing :-D

Seems that if you want to succeed in talent shows you will have to make more commercial show. For me that was a perfect, i enjoyed watching the juggling. I can actually see some poses and things that look like dutch. I think i saw some just barely noticeable things that looked like Martijn there. ;) And it's certainly in the way the execute some tricks...

Maybe in time i'll be able to tell straight away if somebody is dutch just from their diabolostyle. Maybe not... Arjan's style makes it really hard.

I think it was the finnish music that got them to semi-finals :)
Nice 3d-low that is some hard stuff to land in TV.
I have theory for talent shows: Less tricks, more posing, nice outfit(no training clothes!), music ques/use of rhythm.
And if you want to win, sing.
