xtremes =10mm but if you get the foam handled classics they'll feel more clunky.
Allys are 8mm.

Plenty of people use extremes so doubtful if the 'too thick'

both sticks can bend (and be rebent).

Check out some of the other threads in the equipment section for peoples thoughts on the sticks.

As seán_ mentioned, both will bend. I'd say the xtremes bend a bit less than the Henrys, but they can be harder to recover from a really bad bend because the hollow aluminum can crease. Aluminum bends. Carbon fiber breaks. I'd just get over it and diabolo.

Lots of people quite like the thickness of the xtremes.

Sorry if this is straying from the thread topic, but how do you unbend aluminums? If I can ever get mine out of a tree I would like to Straighten them out again.

Ben.

I love it, makes 3 diabolo corrections so much easier, which is great for me as i use suns which take alot of force to correct.

Iv'e bent my xstreme sticks and i haven't managed to bend them back yet. Anyway i don't use them much, it hurts to much when they hit my fingers  during genocide practice. I use carbon, and have never seen them break(And hopefully never will)

i think switching to xtremes opens a lot of new possibilities in diabolo play, look at M4U and his supersweet concepts which depend on stickweight!
