So any estimate on how much the guts (to put on my old flys, I like solid colours more anyway) will cost?

i keep trying to switch back over to fixed axles, and along comes something like this... =P

im suddenly imagining a bunch of people in the sundia R&D:
"one bearing worked pretty well...what should we do next?"
"add more!"
"alright, let's do this."

no more will be available until the official product release this summer.
No official date as yet.

As I realise people may not re-read the early posts, I'll repeat this bit too
NOTE - if you are the curious type and take them apart to see how things work - please take care not to loose the 4 small plastic washers inside - they still work without these, but performance is better with them in place.

Not quite - there are only a small number made and they are still in final testing (available in Taiwan only).  They wont mass produce or release to rest of the world until they pass all tests for reliability etc.

I got chance to test one in Nordic Juggling Convention. It's truly amazing how smooth it is. I totally need to get one. Really good job on the bearings. Works like a charm. That's one of those diabolos you just must own.

Why are the hubs marked with red and blue? I would prefer the black and white better...

Also i believe that in heavy use it starts to lose some grease from the bearing and keep more noise. Maybe players should think about adding grease or lube later on while juggling a lot with it. You could get rid of the sound which is slowly getting more aloud. (like in yoyo's, it doesn't happen fast but eventually you will get more noise right?) Would adding grease or lube be difficult process for players? That could be one thing for Sundia to consider... Maybe they could offer instrunctions for maintenance. ;)

It's beautiful product. I totally love it.

I got a question.  I just got 2 of them and they are really hard to accelerate.  Is it just me or do they slip down the string really easily because whenever I accelerate, it slips and hits the other diabolo.

aAe you using them the right way? The only solutions I can think of are that you are either using the diabolos the wrong way, or the axles are too loose so it spins both ways...

Too much weight and too slippy string perhaps? Cus I can't see how the weight alone will affect (effect?) it so much. Besides, the tripplebearings are not THAT heavy, are they?

Nope - its just the non stick coated slippy black alu axles - they are slippy on the regular fly (or fixed axle Fly/Sun) as well - you soon get used to it and it makes things much smoother once you do.

It's just like Nev said. Just use more worn string and you'll get more friction for your speedpulls. Also accelerating with two wraps seems to help out quite a lot. ;) You'll get used to those axles.

look at this for the taibolo description.
A bearing axle would be an axle that moves only one way for longer spin time. The sundia fly is a great example.  I guess that is what makes them so good but it is just a matter of opinion.
triple bearing:

Sundia have been quietly developing a revolutionary new successor to the Fly diabolo for some time. Following a few early problems and a lot of testing, its nearly ready for final release.  It features 3 separate bearings which work independently of each other to ensure a smooth quiet operation.   I have a few (unofficial) final testing models available to buy and evaluate.

A fixed axle would be an axle that does not move separatley from the diabolo, hence the name fixed axle.
