Diabolo Origami?

sorry if this has been posted but i couldnt find it in search


i stumbled across this while procrastinating
does anyone know by any chance how to make this? it would be cool to know who made it as well.
it looks really simple, like a twisted cylinder, pretty cool ay

It looks cool, but I don't think you can spin it . I'll have to give it a try to make one. Looks like there's many pieces, not only one...

It looks like a tesselation to me, which will be made out of 1 piece of paper. The crease pattern is also printed on the paper, which would suggest that it's a template that somebody has found on the internet. Good luck looking!
