A poi inspired move for everyone to try this week. Danny has found a cool way to incorporate poi weaves into 2 diabolos.

I remember from this trick from the Bath convention.  It's even better in person.  Nice job.

Sweet move dude! I like the fast, aggressive, yet solid and smooth motion of the swings. I also liked how you choose for a less awkward move to get in/out to, by only grabbing the string on one diabolo side (as opposed to holding string with both hands).

Its a really cool trick, but with my bearingless diabolos I doubt it will be in my aresenal.

Hey thanks all for the kind words.  As you might be able to tell, I have the first trick fairly solid, but the other two not so much.  As you can see by the last one it is possible to do without bearings, but I'm not sure how solid it would be possible to get, I found that even when I landed it, the suicided diabolo ended up with no spin (and I think it loses it all quite early).

The basic trick with bearings is actually probably easier than it looks, especially if you can do a fountain with poi.

Sorry about the music, I chose a band I knew personally as i figured it would mean the copyright wouldn't be an issue.

Cheers

Sweet trick. I've worked on something similar with both diabolos grinding but never had much success. I like your idea of just grinding one. Remi would be proud wherever he is these days.

Oh, well then it probably was fine. We just didn't know and always assume we're going to get a take down notice from YouTube in a couple weeks. :P

Yey - that looks really nice.  I have a similar thing with both isolated, but I have no poi skills to do much with it.
