Allow all of this talk about whether diabolos are good for certain things. Anyone can learn 3d with any diabolos, its not about the diabolo it's about how you practice and whether you think about what your doing wrong.

Toddyupa, I think that Shinings are really rubbish for learning 2d and you should get Harlequins instead.

i got some shinings today with fixed axles and plastic washers. they don't hurt my wrists at all and my 3d has gotten better in one day from using them- i can do that stall out of a sun where you hold the string now(i don't know what its called). the only thing i dont like is they dont stay in line so much for multiples, but because of their wieght its easy to make corrections so its not a problem.

What anyone said had nothing to do with learning 2D, and I think that shinings are great for it anyway.

I got: 3 Blue Sundia Shinings
1 Red Sundia Bearing Monobolos
a yoyo and a better 3 low :)

will, you might be thinking of an armstall? (sun to armstall)
