Here's a new video that features sloppy tricks and insanely good videography. My friend Mike Sharkey did all the work while I goofed around. Hope you guys enjoy it. If you're looking for a video with insane skills, go away.

Ps. Sorry about the vertax gen. Mike did this for free and his only request was "do that crazy swirly thing". Couldn't really refuse.

That was a beautiful video. The lighting and the editing was wonderful, and you did some pretty well-looking moves

I'm not sure which was more gorgeous -- the camera work or your hirsuteness... As for the tricks: I really enjoyed all the stick-switching/tiny-duicides you threw in there.

Mike is a genious
The filming, the lighting and the angles made it come to life even more than regular diabolo-videos. The landscapes, backgrounds and the light just seemed to work together so good. Really amazing video, that guy Mike is gonna be big if he keeps on filming.

Wow! I really thoroughly enjoyed that! Very beautiful. I soooo prefer this kind of videos to the insane-skill videos. Loved it!
And Jesse, you've got some pretty cool moves there. Thanks for inspiring me.

I'm not going to lie, but I don't think much of it. I felt that I never saw the full trick, the camera was always cutting parts of it out.

Beautiful video!
I love the relax vibe of it
Nice to see the creativity in the camera angles!
I also like the camera movement, it gives a much more lively? feel to the video
Your tricks are also great to watch! I really like the stick switch combo at 2:26!

Thanks for the kind comments guys!
Arjan, I've been working on a lot of kickup/arm pit stuff lately. Shall do a full video with stuff like that later. As I said that was filmed in August when I first started experimenting with those things.
Samuli, I know and to be honest with you I really, really miss Finland.
Ben, that's because you actually never see an entire trick. That was the point of the vid, but I understand if it's not everyones cup of tea.

I have to agree. I liked it most of the time, but there were a few shots that were over the top, using this filming effect. It's an excellent way to learn from though.
Also, I really liked the stick switch during regular arm orbits. Try throwing in a mini suicide there, it opens up so much possibilities
