Suicides ( Ice Cracker) (Chinese Suicide)

I have been trying to do some suicides
ie Ice Cracker and Chinese Suicide
and i cant seem to get the stick to spin
round very fast at all. For the ice
cracker i have to catch it half way and
spin it again

Is it just speed (diabolo speed) or is it something else???

maybe it is because you give the stick a spin with your hand dont do that. just do a right trapeze turn the stick to the left 90 degrees and let it go off without spin it up, then it should work without any problems. and dont spin up the diabolo to fast for the ice cracker because the diabolo may comes up to your stick. but you also need a "basic" speed, because the stick doesnt fly around very well then.

It isn't the speed but the type of trapeze. Left and right trapezes can change the amount of momentum you get. I find it immposible to complete the trick from a left trapeze by just releasing the stick but it's easy for me to do chinese suicide from a right. Try experimenting with the two trapezes.

yes if you a righty and you do the chinese suicide, you only need to let the stick go off, or else it will fly around faster and its much harder to catch the stick
