1. How many years have you diaboloed for?
Like 3 years, but only started really a half year ago with trying to learn excalibur...

2. What or who got you started?
First I started with two branches, a stupid rope and an old diabolo, but that was only trowing up (and catching sometimes). But that's a long time ago... My first real diabolo was for my 11th birthday, i think. A circus henry moon. Later I bougth Henry's aluminium sticks. But that was still not serious... The best trick me and my friends knew was whipcatch lol
A few years later I went to the circusday in Ypres, it was on my 13th birthday  :D  The things I saw there where amazing for me, so that day made me know I must practise much more to become good... The coolest trick I saw whas Excalibur, so I tried it too. After long practising i could get the diabolo horizontal, but I didn't knew any tricks, until I found circusplanet  :D Since then I became much better, but I still have to practise much more...

3. What do you like best about the diabolo or juggling in general?
Diabolo has so much variations...

4. How many hours a day do you diabolo on average?
30 min. in a week-day, sometimes 4 hours in the weekend.

5. Do you ever perform with the diabolo?
Only for familie, and one time on a school festival.

6. Do you juggle other props? If so: balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks... ?
Balls with 3 and unicycling, but now I almost only do diabolo.

7. What are your favourite diabolos, sticks, and string?
I use henry's yellow rope and aluminium sticks. I wish I had 2 Finesses for my Fans but I only have one, and 2 circus henry's. I'm about to buy a 3th circus Henry's for 3d.

8. Do you like working with 1, 2, or 3 diabolos the best?
I'm not at 3 diabolo's yet. I'm better in 1d then 2d, but 2d is still cooler  :D .

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do?
Btb Fan

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done?
Don't know...

11. What tricks are driving you nuts right now (what are you working on)?
3d, some Fan variations,

12. What other diaboloists have inspired you?[/url]

1. How many years have you diaboloed for?  15 years...CASUAL

2. What or who got you started? a Friend...he let me see that thing spin and roar through he sky and i was HOOKED!

3. What do you like best about the diabolo or juggling in general?  I love that it just looks so damn easy!  but put two sticks in your hand and two plungers stuck together ...and you SEE that there is an ART to it!  I love the diabolo mainly because i can just zone out and 3 hours later notice i have been tossing that cups and axle around the whole time!  great meditative tool

4. How many hours a day do you diabolo on average? 2

5. Do you ever perform with the diabolo? no...unless you count my mini performances in my backyard at cookouts :P

6. Do you juggle other props? If so: balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks... ? NO...i would give my left pinky to have enough know how to juggle clubs

7. What are your favourite diabolos, sticks, and string?  Really my FAVE diabolo was one i purchased at a JOKE store.  A no name brand but it just had INCREDIBLE spin.  I went back there last week to get another diabolo since mine disappeared...he stocked ONE higgins brother..I'm not liking that very much.  6 days ago my Finesse came in the mail...LOVE it!  Sticks:  I just fashion some out of dowel rods...but I'm soon to be purchasing some professional ones.  String:  Finesse came with some...its OK...but i have to say...when i had my NO NAME diabolo..years ago - my string broke and i bought parachute cord from an Outdoor Shop...it was by far the best i have ever used...thin brown slick and STRONG!  The string with the Finesse is SIMILAR...but i got LONGER duration with the parachute cord before it started to fray and get unruly.

8. Do you like working with 1, 2, or 3 diabolos the best? well i haven't learned the SELF start on 2 diabolos YET!!!  but i NEED and WANT to..that WILL be my fave..so for sake of this answer i would have to say ONE since that is all i can do at the TIME!

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do?  EVERY now and THEN i can catch the toss and whip! love it when it works...i want this to become second nature and ALWAYS hit...its a show stopper in my backyard cookout performances lol

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done?  man, toooo many to say, since I'm very limited to my tricks so far....MOST of them amaze me still

11. What tricks are driving you nuts right now (what are you working on)?  The 2 diabolo quick launch, whip catch, suicide...AND converting tricks for a left hander lol

12. What other diaboloists have inspired you?  almost everyone...lol...google videos get me inspired nowdays!

Hello to the forum...a LEFTY here trying to actually pull off these tricks i drool over!!!!
