1. How many years have you diaboloed for?

3...ish? Maybe 2.

2. What or who got you started?

A guy named Ben that worked at The Children's Museum Of Indianapolis. I was walking by and talked to him. Then he eventually said you want my job? I'm leaving for college. So I took it.

3. What do you like best about the diabolo or juggling in general?

I don't really know. All I know is that in juggling I like numbers juggling. I don't really care too much about patterns. And in diabolos I like smooth flowing tricks. If it's at all choppy I hate to do it.

4. How many hours a day do you diabolo on average?

Well, I plan on putting in a lot more when things settle down and I get into college. But as of now, and days, the most I practice is probably ten to twenty minutes a week.

5. Do you ever perform with the diabolo?

I did everyday when I worked at The Childrens Museum Store. I was the demo guy. I played with yoyo's mostly though.

6. Do you juggle other props? If so: balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks... ?

I HATE clubs. I'm sorry guys  ::) I just don't enjoy them at all. But that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy watching them. I'm a balls guy (I hate that running juggling joke, too.) I'm pretty mean with a pair of devil sticks though.

7. What are your favourite diabolos, sticks, and string?

Spintastics Spinabolo Pros. Are there any other kind?  ;) I LOVE the black fiberglass short sticks (By henry's I think), and I love woaven neon pink nilone string that you can get at Lowes Hardware. It's SUPER cheap and by far the smoothest string that you can use.

8. Do you like working with 1, 2, or 3 diabolos the best?

That's a really hard question to answer. Probably 2...no 1...no 2...no 1...no 2.

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do?

The orbiter (aka spinklers)

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done?
Go to http://www.yoyoing.com/videos/play.php?vid=2833
The trick right before the staircase scene is the COOLEST trick ever made.

11. What tricks are driving you nuts right now (what are you working on)?

Honestly, I'm embarassed to say that I never learned the fan. It's just one of those tricks that I never slowed down to learn.

12. What other diaboloists have inspired you?

Stupendous is very insperational and also I think that Hadriabolo (Hadrian, I think) is my favorite diaboloer. I don't know why, but I'd rather watch his freestyle than any of the mad french posses.

Website:

1. How many years have you diaboloed for?
Since the start of 2005 so 2 years now.

2. What or who got you started?
Sean's old sprinkler video (the one where he was skiing as well)

3. What do you like best about the diabolo or juggling in general?
That feeling just after you've done a really hard/new trick for the first time.

4. How many hours a day do you diabolo on average?
2-4 hours a week although I hope to increase this.

5. Do you ever perform with the diabolo?
No.

6. Do you juggle other props? If so: balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks... ?
Balls. Before diabolos, I had "phases" where I would juggle with one prop almost exclusively. Each time, I thought "this is the prop I'm sticking with". Maybe diabolo is just the most recent "phase". Past props include: yo-yos, balls, clubs and rings.

7. What are your favourite diabolos, sticks, and string?
I've only really used Mister Babache Finesse G2s, Henry's aluminium (aluminum?) sticks, and Henry's yellow string so I guess I don't have a favourite.

8. Do you like working with 1, 2, or 3 diabolos the best?
All are good but I guess I prefer 2 over 1. Maybe once I can do 3 I'll prefer that over 2. Depends on what tricks I'm working on.

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do?
2 handed-whip-thing to genocide (1d). Trash's web gets the coolest reactions from other diaboloists who can't do it yet although I might not do it anymore since it "disrupts" other diaboloists too much as they try to do it.

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done?
Antonin's infinite suicide to genocide where he swings the stick on the otherside of his body first before catching the diabolo in a genocide. Also Excalibur (vertax?) genocide.

11. What tricks are driving you nuts right now (what are you working on)?
3d shuffle, 2d vortex, 2d fan, 2d s-fan

12. What other diaboloists have inspired you?
Sean, The Mad French Posse, Ryo Yabe, I'm sure there others that I can't think of.
