Hello everyone! I'm really surprised to find such an active diabolo forum! Okay, here's my list:

1. How many years have you diaboloed for? It's been about a year and a half since I started I think, but for quite a while I never practiced. I recently got back in it.

2. What or who got you started?
I bought the cirque du soleil diabolo after seeing Varekai with my mom. I was shocked to learn that average people like me could actually do tricks with a diabolo!

3. What do you like best about the diabolo or juggling in general?
I'm actually able to do it! It's like my hidden talent (not that I'm even remotely good). Not a lot of people have actually seen or tried the diabolo, so it's fun to teach other people and entertain them with my simple tricks.

4. How many hours a day do you diabolo on average?
about 1 hour

5. Do you ever perform with the diabolo?
At a LARP, I do, but not professionally.

6. Do you juggle other props? If so: balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks... ?
Nope

7. What are your favourite diabolos, sticks, and string?
Unfortunately I haven't tried enough of the varying kinds to say. I have two sets of handsticks though , painted wooden ones and some nicer wooden ones I bought from a juggling site, but I switch between the two often. I don't have a preference. The sticks I bought from the store are troublesome in that I have a harder time doing suicides though...

8. Do you like working with 1, 2, or 3 diabolos the best?
Just one for me, for now.

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do?
Hmmm...I'd like to say it's whatever new trick I just recently pulled off. What a rush!
For a real answer...I suppose I like the climb the string trick. UBER simple, yet it's the one that makes people go "Ooooh! Aaaaah!" I also like the Chinese suicide and cat's cradle tricks.

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done?
Too many to count.

11. What tricks are driving you nuts right now (what are you working on)?
I can't for the life of me correct a diabolo's direction, so I end up having to move. If I ever go up on stage, my act will likely end with me having turned a complete 180 from the audience.

12. What other diaboloists have inspired you?
I guess I have to say that my main inspiration has been the Chinese girls from Cirque du Soleil. Any diabolo video so far I've seen has amazed and inspired me though.

About 6 months so far and have loved every minute of it

My mate Nobby at the download music festival started teaching me and I got hooked!!

I like the fact that when I am using my Diabolo nothing else seams to matter.

Normally about 2 but more if I have the time

I have once at a small charity event with a couple of mates, which was awesome (really want to do it more)

I can juggle ball and rings I also enjoy poi

Well I am still on my first set which is a Finesse G2 with the evo 1 kit with Carbon sticks and Yellow String

I am still only using 1 at the mo but want to start learning 2

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do?

Probably the finger grind as it is the most resent trick I have learned

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done?

Umm that’s a hard one but it would have to be an Elevator from the base to the top of a 30 foot climbing wall not hard but impressive none the less

A summer camp... there was a class(?) on the chinese yoyo/diabolo.

Ofek Shilton is quite young too, he's only 10 and can do both 3 high and low.  Niels from Belgium was the one that did the 3d armstall, not riku.

Mr Babache jumbo harlequin, with carbon fibre sticks. And I am yet to discover my favourite string.

As I said I am not that good, (hence me using this site) but my best/favourite trick would be fire or ice cracker.
