This is not my first post on this forum, I just never got round to doing this until now...

Name: Beni
Location: England
Age: 106 (funny...)
Website: www.google.com (OK that's just pushing it!)

1. How many years have you diaboloed for? Less than one.

2. What or who got you started? A friend taught me what he called "the flip" (trapeze) at a club which had a diabolo for some reason. Also, an entertainer who did a show and then let people try. I asked him about harder tricks like around the arm and he just dissmissed me >:(. Later, I got a diabolo, and now I am much better than him. Ha!

3. What do you like best about the diabolo or juggling in general? Learning a skill, the 'feeling', the look on people's faces and teaching other people.

4. How many hours a day do you diabolo on average? One or less.

5. Do you ever perform with the diabolo? Um yes... once. I will perform more when I get better, hopefully.

6. Do you juggle other props? If so: balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks... ? Balls, learning clubs, learning cigar boxes, and manipulation stuff like poi and yoyo.

7. What are your favourite diabolos, sticks, and string? Finesse g2, White Henry's fibreglass long sticks, but I haven't tried any others apart from wood, Henry's yellow string.

8. Do you like working with 1, 2, or 3 diabolos the best? I love the feeling of two but it can be annoying with correcting and all that, so probably one.

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do? Eiffel tower or various combos ending with suicides.

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done? Sadly, I've never seen anyone do even a 2d shuffle with my own eyes, but in terms of videos it would have to be Ryo Yabe's whip duicide into 3d, or maybe something from "of baguettes and diabolos".

11. What tricks are driving you nuts right now (what are you working on)? Integral suicides (including one of my own), and as soon as I can get into a better space, a 2d genocide variation I'm working on.

12. What other diaboloists have inspired you? Ryo Yabe, MFP, Sean, Norbi, Nick, other diaboloists in videos whos names I can't remember...

Yeah many have mentioned that there are a shortage of Aussies. YoHo should do TV commercials and have them in more toy stores ;) Yeah The fest is bi-annual though. So there won't be another until 2009!  :(
