Hey everybody.

Name: Nick
Location: Virginia
Age: 15
Website: None.. for now.

1. How many years have you diaboloed for?
'Bout half a year.

2. What or who got you started?
My friend Asa... I think his username is Legault here. He got me started, but what really turned me on to it was when we (Asa and I) went to see Mark Nizer at the Paramont last year.. and after that watching all of those videos on youtube.

3. What do you like best about the diabolo or juggling in general?
I'm not entirely sure. Diabolo is kind of strange when you think about it, but I can't really put 'em it down. I like it because it's fun to do, but it's also challenging... and I love the feeling you get when you finally learn that certain trick you've been trying to figure out for a long time..

4. How many hours a day do you diabolo on average?
I try to do it as much as I can.. I would say on average about 3 hours on weekdays.. but I have school so there isn't much time. On the weekend I could go for a long time.

5. Do you ever perform with the diabolo?
Not really.. I go to the juggling club here in Charlottesville every week but that's not really performing. I'm thinking about going and doing it downtown sometime.

6. Do you juggle other props? If so: balls, clubs, rings, cigar boxes, devil sticks... ?
I'm trying to learn balls.. I want to learn 3 at least... the others I haven't really tried.

7. What are your favourite diabolos, sticks, and string?
Hmm.. My favorite diabolos are the Sundia Fly diabolos; I love bearing diabolos.. I have 2 of those. I haven't really experimented much with Diabolos, actually. I've only ever used Finesse, Spinabolo, and Fly diabolos, but I plan to try some others out eventually. Handsticks are the same way, I haven't experimented with many. I like how Carbon Fibers feel but I don't lik how much string they waste. My favorite sticks are Henry's Aluminum. As for string, I just use Henry's Yellow.

8. Do you like working with 1, 2, or 3 diabolos the best?
I know a lot of 1D moves, and I do know Excalibur/Vertax, but I just started 2D about a month ago and I have the shuffle down, but I'm just now starting to learn tricks with it.

9. What is your favourite diabolo trick that you can do?
Favorite 1D trick: UFO Grind. Easy to do but I really love it.
Favorite 2D trick: Not sure yet but I have done a fan once and I love that trick.

10. What is the most amazing diabolo trick you've ever seen done?
Oh I'm not really sure.. There was one trick in Pranay's "The Beat of the Diabolo" I saw and loved but I'm not really sure what it was.

11. What tricks are driving you nuts right now (what are you working on)?
Pretty much any 2D trick. I got the sprinkler down but now I'm working on Vortex and Fan.

12. What other diaboloists have inspired you?
Hmm... well, watching Nev's videos definantly inspired me to start trying to learn 2D. But I've watched other videos of the people on this site and I'm usually wowed at most of the videos.
