Several points
1] The new babash red aluminium sticks look very nice
2] I love the chunky and bright appearance of a white grip babash extreme's.
3] Nobody that I know of lets you get signature sticks. obliwald did back in the day with his light sticks but he disappeared.
4] Nice shiny grip tape can glam up your sticks
5] Avoid the energy's they break

I think that Sundia only makes carbon fiber handsticks. They probably have the largest variety of colors and patterns in handsticks. If you like the Henry's Aluminums then try the colored Babache xtremes. Obviously, personal preference determines what looks good. To me, looks alone wouldn't justify upgrading from my Henry's Aluminums as I am quite satisfied with them.
Diabolo may be very technical - but don't overlook the artistic side ;-)

Sean:  'To you sir, £45'.

Punter: stroking some anodized Alus 'You haven't got got anything a bit more...'
Seán:  'A bit more?'
Punter: 'You know... a bit... more...well more'
Seán: (loudly) 'Sir, this is a family friendly business'
Punter: 'No, no, no, nothing like that... Maybe something thinner than any other stick... maybe made from a metal with the highest strength-to-weight ratio.'
Seán: 'Ah sir is a connoisseur, we don't usually have these on show,  but you know your sticks...'

Is titanium really so much better that it justifies the considerable step up in price from aluminum?

Judgement call, one that you might have made already in your diaboloing past. Maybe when making the move from wooden sticks to metal/carbon, or first making the move to decent string, or from a med harlequin/beach etc to a 'real' diablo. I can remember the bump in price of those to be something i gave some thought to.

Like all equipment some will hate them, some will love them, some will be ambivalent about them. Of those that love them there will be those who don't care about the price, others that can't justify that price.

Remember the price isn't a matter of saying, well X is twice as nice/big/small/flexi/strong/loud as Y therefore we can charge twice as much. It's more a case of 'lets build Z work out the cost of development and manufacture etc, sell them at a price in relation to that'. If the price out weighs the benefits they wont sell, they either have to lower prices or stop making them. If they sell well enough then the price will stay the same. (for the most, sometimes external things can cause price readjustments.)

Personally I don't know if titanium is better I haven't used the sticks.
