Loop Diabolo string length

I've been recently been learning loop diabolo but i feel the string length that i have is a bit short. i was wondering if anyone has some kind of idea the amount of string i should use.

i use henry's short carbs so i just put some new string in the sticks just like normal then cut the knots off the end tie it together and wow sooooo.... basicly about 40cm LONGER THAN YOUR USUAL STRING LENTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
