Youtube 'this video cannot be played in your country' - Proxy help

Hi recently somebody posted a very handy link to enable you to cut and paste a youtube link in if the video was blocked in your country.

I can't find that link so I wondered if anybody had one (preferably not a proxy site that looks like it's well sketchy, I'm hoping to pass this link on.)

I remember Tipper mentioning hidemyass.com. Not sure if he mentioned it in relation to the problem you are talking about.

Yeah it was, and hidemyass worked a little while for me, and then it didn't. They all get sketchy after a while.

Try the Firefox - Extension "Stealthy" - one-click proxy without any manuall settings to do. Works like a charm for me  .

www.hidemyass.com works fine for me.

About the URL tricking, I'm pretty sure youtube fixed it 

Anyways, the old version of how to do it:

Heres a normal link to youtube - youtube.com/watch?v=2FbMlXvrCtQ

Now look at this part: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FbMlXvrCtQ

You had to replace that with a simple "v/" and it would play in any country.

So the URL would look like this: http://www.youtube.com/v/2FbMlXvrCtQ

Last time I checked it didn't work (AKA. today)
Hope this will work for any of you guys, it just doesn't in Denmark so I'll have to do with hidemyass.com
