Hiya Diabolo.ca, it's been a while! This was the first outing of my new act "Toxic". Performed with Cirquenova's "Finding Epiphany" show as part of the "Watch this space" festival at the National Theater London. September 3rd, 2011. Hope you like it, it was a lot of fun!

Cheers mo3, I been working on isolations for some time now. You literally can't go wrong with up the string......people go crazy for it!

Yeah nice. Good tune to perform to as well.
It's funny how, despite years of techniolgical evolution, the average bystander is still massively impressed by some of the older school of tricks!

It's cool to see a technically good performance without the need of pulling out more than one diabolo. It's been a while.
I liked your choice of tricks a lot - the isolation stuff was really good and worked perfectly with your body movement. As for the performance in general, I did however miss some movement on the stage. Diabolo is one of the hardest kind of prop to fill this enormous space on stage but it would have been great to see some new ideas on that.
Your costume is cool - and so unique. It would have worked even better on a real stage with dark lighting and masses of smoke surrounding you, I guess.
Thanks for sharing and greetings from rainy Germany,
Flo

Danke Flo! (hope thats spelt right, my German is rusty!) The Royal National Theatre square is an outside stage, but I totally agree about lighting and effects. The night show we did was in the same space, but with groovy lights and tons of smoke! Appreciate the feedback mate Px
Also, Kent where I am in England has been chucking down rain all too, so I sympathize!

I'm putting together a routine where I don’t constantly talk, me and loz have watched this several times as an example of drop-less confident diaboling. I'm impressed with the footwork, as mine tends to be abit flighty and unsure once I start with my combo’s.
For some reason I was hankering for a throw at some points as I think the audience would enjoy the change in scale of the movement.
Anyway hope to see you at Bristol, I’m going both weekends gigs permitting. Woot!

Easy Mark! Good to hear from you dude, I agree about doing a high throw too, probably should have been near the start around the up the string time.... bang out the crowd pleasers early! This was a first for me too, not talking constant rubbish at people whilst juggling, felt good! Cheers for the comments mate, big love Px
Ps... no bristol for me.... I got Cabaret and Secret Garden work that week! BUM!
