Which bearing Diabolo for me?
« on: October 27, 2011, 02:51:27 PM »
Hello
I currently have two taibolo glary diabolos and I read the thread on bearing vs fixed and decided to upgrade to a bearing diabolo of some sort.
Being nearly sixteen, I don't have an enormous amount of money and was wondering which of the options below would be best for me.

1. Ship over a couple of taibolo bearing kits for cost of $50/£31 + £? shipping to UK extra cost.
2. Get two sundia shining diabolos for about £88 from oddballs.co.UK.
3. Get two sundia suns for about £60 from oddballs.

Any advice appreciated. :)

first of all - sundia suns are fixed axle ALWAYS - they cant have bearings attached.

anyways - i would say get 1 sundia shining triple bearing - a diaboloist normally doesnt need more than 1 bearing

Correction to option three- make that two sundia flys for about £60.  :embarassed: :)

Two more questions as well

Is a bearing not easier and better for multiple diabolo use?
How many people have broken sundia shinings/flys?

i have heard on lots of people breaking flys, but shinings are lasting much longer - they are much more durable. (like suns)
most people dont use bearings for more than 1, but there is Jem that used bearings and does lots of crazy eiffel stuff  :P
i would say get 1 shining triple bearing.
(yeah shining not fly)
