Repairing Yoho Axels Anyone?
« on: January 27, 2006, 11:05:51 PM »
Heya...  1 month of rigorous practice after receiving my yoho for christmas... I think it's on it's death throws....  When i get a moderate amount of spin, it makes a grinding noise as if perhaps some of the bearing inside are messed up.... (or theres something in the axel that i cannot see, messing it up) and also when sitting idle after getting up some spin... It vibrates, which i can feel in the hand-sticks... (this was not like this several days ago)....

Anyone messed around with the axel?...  can i soak it to try to get gunk out of the bearings, then re-lube it up?
I don't want to accelerate the death, just perform emergency surgery.

Experienced Open-axel surgeons... anyone?  :)

thanks.

its seems like your talking about the yoho Superspin.

remember, yoho makes different diabolos...  make shure to tell which one.

try tightening.

maybe your going the wrong way..   the superspin has a back and a front.

no, actually I fixed it now....

It was a YohoSuperspin yeh....

There was some debris in the ballbearing axel...

i ran it through some solvent and re-lubed it.
Seemed to do the trick.

(/moral) So anyone with weird noises coming from the yoho superspin ball-bearing axel....  Clean it out once in a while!   (/moral)
