This is unacceptable for me. If this is you after a week without practice, and you usually can do much more, then wait until you have
a longer run on tape you fool! Plus I'm pretty much sure my guessing that Tony did more than that is true, so screw you!

It's looking good and solid. I only doubt the world record claim, not that I care really. Just found it a bit hasty.

And in case I have made up my own facts about this all, and this actually is a legit record... well.. then... sorry.

@Ofek
Arjan is [mostly] being sarcastic (but when I think about it, why DID you film this run and not one of your longer ones?). Mind you, maybe you're being sarcastic back - who can tell. Gotta love the internet.

Anyway, you make five diabolos look ridiculously easy. Awesome job.

@Ofek

Awesome and so solid run. Huge respect for the work.

But I am a bit disappointed and frustrated to only hear from you while chasing world records or showing off some gear.

Turning diabolo into a perpetual competition does not either.

Anyways, keep it up but keep it fun.

The run is really good.

But no chance for arrogance!
Like the last post tells it. Diabolos not made for showing "I am the best".

i totally agree with nico, you couldnt be more right. ofec, you are an absolutely incredible diaboloist but you should show some stuff of you just having fun and doing tricks that aren't just world record attempts. you have so much more talent than you show us, remember what its all about about having fun, it doesnt have to be so competitive. but all in all great effort, i really respect your skill. good job.

Maybe this is his way of having fun, who are we to judge? I read a lot of ''you should" and "you have to", which are just expressions of a subjective feeling about what is 'good' and what is 'bad'. Unless you can objectify those notions of good and bad (which as a matter of fact you can't) your statements are just utter randomness.

Great 5d run Ofek!

I suppose you're right marijn. Who would have thought this video would become so contraversial! All i was saying is i would like to see a bit more of what he can do with tricks and stuff if that makes sense. Really is an incredible effort though.

Good post Marijn, how could running 5 diabolos that well NOT be fun for Ofek?! :p I think learning to juggle with more diabolos is just as rewarding as coming up with a creative trick, if not even more so as its such a time invested process. I remember what it felt like the first time i ran 2 diabolos, when i first learnt 3 and even now when if i get a lucky run of 4 i get such a rewarding feeling. Ive heard many people say the same thing,  we diabolo because its fun and it makes us feel good. Im sure 5 high feels f***ing amazing, keep it up Ofek!
There always seems to be a lot of negavity surrounding videos like this, i agree that diabolo shouldn't become a competition.....but surely this is just Ofek taking pride in this rare skill? How would you feel if you managed to film a run of 5 diabolos with more catches than anyone else on the net? Wouldn't you feel proud and want to share that video? It would really suck if then you just recieved loads of negative comments after what takes years of practise! What Ofek is doing is incredible.
Numbers arent everyones thing, but just cause its not the style of diabolo were into doesn't give anyone the right to demand him to do anything different. There are plenty of diaboloists out there bringing us tasty tricks, if your not into this then go watch their videos instead! If pushing the limits of multiple diabolo juggling is what makes Ofek happy, then who are we to tell him to do otherwise? Come on guys lets have some respect!

Exactly, I agree with the latest comments. Even though here we are all humans and we feel and think. Everybody thinks that this is an amazing demonstration of skills. But we all feel things that are not meditated, me myself feel displeased by the let's call it 'showing off gesture', other people would feel displeased because of jealousy, and some others just because they think that this it not the purpose of diabolo.
Definitely I agree that everybody should do as he/she wants (like vistjes) and take his/her passion as far makes him/her happy, although you cannot stop people from saying what a video makes them feel.
I think Ofek will not care a lot because he got such feedback before and never commented back or stopped doing the 'I rock' gesture.
Even I can't express why I feel like this, some other people does showing of gestures and I like how it fits... I guess guts are weird

Apart from that. Congrats Ofek, we are waiting for the sun or the pirouette ;)

Thank you Arjan, for your comment. Especially because I simply didn't have the courage to say what was on my mind :-)
I agree with Arjan. I personally don't give a damn about world records, especially when the person breaking them posts it as one, while saying that he actually can do much more.
Where's the modesty?
Just post it as a practice video! I think it's very arogant of you to post this (as a 'world record').

PS: I don't deny the fact that it's crazy and amazing what you're doing.

But it is a world record....ive never seen a longer run on film. Im sure he can do more catches, it looks fairly solid! why is telling people that a bad thing? hes clearly proud of it and rightly so, i havnt seen anyone else run 5 so smoothly. His claims may be seen as arogant but they are probably true and by posting it as a  "world record" will get him more views on youtube.

If you dont give a damn about world records then what brought you to this thread?

This is cool to see. That being said, it doesn't inspire me. That's all the feedback I have for the video.

On a personal level, I think people would find this less offensive if you said something like "not my best, but I wanted to share it... oh and I think technically it's a world record!". As it is, how you've presented it could be interpreted as you saying, 'I'm better than you, without even trying that hard', which is something no self-respecting person wants to hear. I think we should all remember that, as proven by anthony gatto's 7 ball record video, most people, even kids, would need to be paid to watch a world record juggling run. But only if there was nothing else to do.

Very impressive!  not my cup of tea but I can appreciate the amount of time invested in that..

On the subject of world records, I remember from my youth watching the great pole vaulter Sergei Bubka break his own record many many times but always by only 1cm when he could clearly jump higher.... does that make him bad??
