Hello dear forum members,

Arjan and I performed at the Open Stage of the EJC 2005 in slovenia, and we asked 2 people to film it. Thanks to RoB and Ferko for that! We did a technical act, with *hard* tricks and combos in it. Unfortunately, we dropped a lot. Although, the audience really liked it, and Arjan felt great about the show. So it wasn't that bad after all

Yes, pretty good guys. hehe, was kinda hard to see with white clothes and a white diabolo, other than that, great stuff. And awesome 2d start in there martijn!

Thanks for these kind words! I also love my new 2d start! It was the only thing that worked the first attempt... (funny that Dai has a similar one in the Feel Good Inc. video)

I know... the quality of the filming was pretty bad unfortunately.

Too much light, and our white diabs + lightcoloured clothes sometimes looked like one big blur. Ah well, the tricks were nice

I saw it in the ejc, and it was quite nice... I also love your 2d start, the pity was all the drops that you had... but I loved some tricks!

That's a lovely performance, I really badly want to go to a european juggling conevention!

One thing that I have noticed since I started juggling is that I don't mind how many drops a performance has as long as it is a good show and the performers are pushing themselves. Before learning to juggle I would have probably preferred a showy dropless performance.

And that is the nature of a non-juggler, wanting perfection and being overly disapointed at drops becuase apparently we shouldnt (which i guess is true, to an extent) It's also why proffessional performing is a cnut, becuase you have to be 99% perfect.

Damn good show..
I like that start allot Martijn remind me of Sanders weird trow away the diabolo trick from the RWJD (did that inspire u?)
And Arjan why? why do u make it look so smooth and so easy?

Great that you and others liked it so much. I just used the well known 'weird trow away the diabolo trick' and added a 2nd diabolo and anti suicide. You only got to think of it

Because that way it`s better to watch for you, and infact, when you goo with the flow of the combo, it`s easier to pull, and more fun.
