Ball bearings?

I just started to learn some 2 diabolo tricks and was just wondering if ball bearings are any use compared with the finesse witch i am currently using.

Well Bloodcum, I suggest sticking to the finnesses. Bearings make it a bit harder for 2d, but not all that much.

I keep seeing people say that fixed axles are easier for 2d i find just the opposite to be true

It's not so much easier or harder but different. If you learn initially with bearings you may learn all sorts of habits that won't work with fixed axles. If you learn with fixed axles you'll be able to pick up bearings quickly and the fixed habits won't hurt you. Or learn with both at the same time if you want.

I always say learn with a fixed axle and once you're good, take it to another level with a bearing.
